The shares fell sharply after UK Mail warned that although its half year performance is expected to be in line with expectations, Q2 parcels volumes were below expectations although it’s too early to assess whether this is the start of a more persistent trend.Average daily volumes in H1 are expected to increase to 6%, compared with +25% last time and while a moderation in growth was expected ahead of new capacity coming on stream the bug-bear was that the pick-up after the seasonally quiet summer period (due to holidays) did not materialise.Investec, which believes this is a sector wide theme, has reduced its 2015 and 2016 profit forecast by £2m to £22m and £24m for new eps of 31.8p and 34.7p respectiv ...
