Shares in gaming software group Playtech have come off their high of 936p, albeit they’re still well ahead of the 540p at which we originally tipped them in March ‘13.The bugbear was news that while the Financial Services Commission in British Virgin Islands has approved its acquisition of Ava Trade, the Central Bank of Ireland is opposing it. Having taken legal advice Playtech is challenging this decision.This setback overshadowed interims, which were ahead of forecast with revenues rising 19% to Eu 286m and net profit increasing 11% to Eu 83.9m.
