Petrofac - Oil services group recovering after contract setback

Oil services company Petrofac has experienced quite a roller coaster ride with the shares rising from 303p in October ‘06 to a peak of 1768p in April ‘12 before falling to 594p early in 2015 and now bouncing to 911p. As you might expect, the share price has in large part been a proxy for the oil price: most recently, the first intervention by OPEC since 2008 to reduce its oil production by 750,000 barrels oil per day (bopd) has boosted prices and sentiment.
