Shares in business events organiser Tarsus reacted well to interim results, rising to new high of 319p in August, even though these are only expected to contribute 15% to full year profits, as the big events are held in H2.Nevertheless, adjusted pretax profit rose a third to £6.8m on revenues up 35% to £39.8m, through strong organic growth and acquisitions. Like-for-like revenues grew 4% but would have been better bar the weakness in Turkey (due to political turmoil) and excluding that, revenues grew 8%.
