Premier has announced its Tolmount East well in the UK Southern North Sea has encountered a 241 feet gas-bearing sand column with “quality and thickness at the upper end of expectations.” Its pre-drilling target had been up to 300 billion cubic feet.Broker Jefferies says it’s worth 11p a share to core NAV, which increases to 94p and also increases the odds of success for other drilling targets in the Tolmount area.It will now be fast-tracked for development with first gas due in 2023 and could extend the Tolmount field’s expected peak production of 20-25,000 boepd right out to 2024 - effectively replacing the estimated contribution from the Zama Mexican discovery, which has been put up for sale for aro ...
