As the UK emerged from the credit crunch I recall a halcyon period where TMI featured several house builders at such a low base that it was impossible to fail to make money, thanks to low interest rates, quantitate easing and Government support schemes. One such recommendation was Crest Nicholson at 275p in April 2013 with the shares going on to peak at 655p in 2017 as well as throwing off 135p in dividends. While history never exactly repeats itself, it often rhymes and we believe conditions will shortly become as favourable for buyers as they were then.
