CRC, the mobile phone and digital set top box repairer, hasannounced it is in merger talks with the French based, A-Novo, in whatis likely to be an all-share deal.  In view of the size of thepotential transaction, CRC has temporarily suspended its own shares.  Novo  is the second largest player (by sales) in CRC’smarket, with operations spread over 50 countries in Europe, North andSouth America.  A key attraction for CRC is that Novo services allthe major operators in the European digital set-top box market.  Broker, Numis, points out that while a deal of this size wouldundoubtedly improve CRC’s profile with its customers, the group willsurely need to bolster its board (CRC has just 2 executive ...
