After pulling back to 218p shares in confectionery group, Glisten resumed their uptrend ahead of delivering another set of record resultsand at the current price sport an impressive 197% gain since our original recommendation at 86p in August 2002.   For the year ended 30 June, Glisten's pretax profit rose 32% to £1.8m on turnover up 33% to £20.8m, while fully diluted earnings increased 22% to 13.1p.  Net cash inflow increased 30% to £2.1m, which helped finance further deferred consideration for Glisten Confectionery of £1.15m and capex of £0.75m, including a new plant to manufacture chocolate buttons.  However, gearing rose from 18% to 53% after financing the cash element of acquisitions made.  A ...
