Maiden interim results were well received by investors with the shares jumping xxp on the day to a new high. Turnover rose 15% to Â£72m, while pretax profit, before exceptional flotation costs ofÂ£3.3m, doubled to Â£4.9m, from which earnings increased 68% to 7.9p. The results were underpinned by a jump in net cash inflow, before those exceptional costs, from Â£6.2m to Â£7.4m. Brokershave upgraded pretax profit forecasts from Â£8.7m to Â£9.6m this year,rising to Â£10.6m in 2005 and Â£12m in 2006. New earningsforecasts are 18.6p, rising to 20.5p and 23.1p.
