Business events organiser Tarsus has put out a confident trading update for the period since its interims announcement on 29 July. Both its Off-Price show in Las Vegas in August and the Medical event in San Jose in September are trading slightly ahead of management's previous expectations. Meanwhile the two largest exhibitions in Tarsus' portfolio, Labelexpo Europe (held in September) and the Dubai Airshow (November) continue to trade comfortably ahead of the comparable events in 2007. As a result overall trading for the full year is in line with expectations. Having become moribund for nearly two months the shares have twitched into life and look poised to break out.* ...
