Kentz has produced cheerful interims, with good progress from new orders being the highlight. The period to 30 June saw revenues rise 32% to US$434m, while pretax profit increased 36% to US$25.2m. Eps rose almost 35% to 14.9 cents while gross cash increased almost 10% to US$197.8m. Kentz, which erects accommodation blocks and support infrastructure such as power, water, waste and telecoms for new build projects like LNG plants and oil terminals, won new orders worth US$664m in the seven months to end July compared with just over US$1bn in 2009.
