Although one never quite knows if another financial crisis might be lurking round the corner the fact is that the world will always require new sources of energy and metals in order to boost economic growth and this is very good news for a company like Cape, which is expected to join the FTSE-250 shortly. Cape, which provides industrial services such as scaffolding, insulation and fire protection to the oil & gas and mining sectors, is attractive for two main reasons. On the one hand it is supported by a significant proportion of long-term maintenance contracts, which provide the lion's share of its £850m order book and means that in just the first six months it has already booked over 90% forecast revenues for 2011.
