The shares hit an all-time high of 1152p after Fisher issued strong interim results for the six months to 30 June showing a 7% rise in revenue to £201m while pretax profit and eps increased 15% to £19.4m and 29.9p respectively. Following a business reorganisation the largest division is now Marine Support, which includes the fendering, mooring and strain gauge applications activities and this side increased profits 20% to £9.4m when adjusting for the disposal of TRE, driven by the start-up phase of the BP Angola contract.
