Recruitment firm Hays posted strong growth at its interims with net fee income rising 5% to £764m and operating profit increasing 17% to £64m - it would have been an even better +25% but for foreign exchange headwinds.All its markets grew with Asia Pacific increasing profit 7% like-for-like to £49.7m on an 8% rise in net fees, despite softening confidence in its biggest territory, Australia.Europe and Rest of World delivered a 9% rise in net fees and 18% growth in profit to £68.7m with Germany (50% of division) growing fees 6%.UK & Ireland produced a crackerjack 75% jump in profit to £45.7m on 11% growth in net fee income.
