A good month for the shares, which raced away to a high of 333p. Having now completed the acquisition of Skrill, Optimal has released interims for the original business that showed revenues rising 40% to US$223m and adjusted EBITDA increasing 28% to US$49.9m. It’s an even better performance if one considers that the comparative H1 ’14 had seen a spike in World Cup related volumes from its biggest merchant (licenced in Europe, but focused on Asia), which represents 29% sales although that will reduce to 15% post Skrill. At NETELLER, the e-wallet business for online gamblers, sales rose 35% to US$49.8m, excluding adverse weakening of Euro against the $.
