Over the past two years shares in business events organiser Tarsus have moved sideways, mainly due to the strength of sterling but there are signs the business could move forward strongly again. The struggling French business has been sold for £6.6m. It has filled the gap with the acquisition of a 50% interest in Myanmar and Cambodian events group, AMB, which specialises in the building, infrastructure, automotive and food processing verticals for an initial £2.6m.Meanwhile interims to end June were slightly ahead. These showed revenues, pretax profit and eps increasing 47%, 83% and 31% to £34m, £5.5m and 3.4p, respectively.
