I was pleasantly surprised by my first trip to the cinema in a long while to see the much hyped Dunkirk and even my keen theatre-going wife and her long suffering German friend enjoyed the experience with the seats judged very wide and comfortable with decent leg room and fantastic sight lines. The cinema was owned by  Picturehouse, formerly a London-focused independent operator, bought out nearly five years ago by Cineworld.
