Amidst encouraging signs of an end to the headwinds, H&T’s interims showed revenues 13% higher at £120.8m, while gross profit jumped 16% to £70.2m. Eps rose 9% to 17.7p.  Demand remained strong and the “availability of small sum credit continues to be constrained for consumers,” which means H&T’s pledge lending increased 14% year-on-year to £146m. That drove an 11% rise in gross profit to £47.7m (68% of total).
