After a sluggish third quarter, blamed on weak general merchandise demand and supply chain disruption (freight issues in the Red Sea), Ultimate Products said its Q4 was a tad better than expected. The owner of several leading UK homeware brands like Salter, Kleeneze and  Beldray said revenues fell 6.5% to £155.5m with EBITDA down almost 11% to £18m. Pretax profit fell 14.3% to £14.4m.  Ultimate has also had to grapple with several other headwinds such as a weak consumer environment and UK supermarket de-stocking but the latter has now ended and the forward order book is healthy.  Forecasts for the year to July ’24 are for eps of 12.4p, rising to 14.8p and then 16.7p in ’26.  With net debt less than expected at £10.5m (just ...
