Cranswick - Gaining selling space at Sainsbury's

Cranswick's AGM statement confirmed that trading is ahead on a like-for-like basis for the first quarter of this year, although it is not company policy to give specifics at this point.  Nevertheless it was still enough to send the shares to a new 549p high   (equivalent to 1098p before the recent two way split).     Broker, Numis, has just published an update, whichhighlights certain comments in the trade press that Sainsbury's isintending to step up a new product innovation program to persuadeconsumers to buy more British pork products and so help protect thelivelihood of farmers. This is particularly good news for Cranswick which produces around one third of Sainsbury's freshpork.  ...
