The shares jumped 8p in response to a positive pre-close statement from Interactive World, which noted that trading has been very good and in line with expectations for the year to 31 July 2006. It also expects to pay a final dividend when its results are published in September. Current trading continues to be strong despite the difficulties recently reported by other quoted companies in its space, while its customer base is now approaching 900,000 regular users. Importantly, it has also renegotiated its key distribution agreement with the Sport Newspaper to a rolling five year contract, which replaces the previous five year fixed term.
