Shares in Synergy Healthcare hit new highs after broker Brewin Dolphin raised its price target to 650p in reaction to news that trading is running ahead of management’s expectations. Synergy’s bid pipeline remains active with a large number of new business opportunities, while new contracts worth £3m have been won in the first quarter. Its Patient Care division (the old Shiloh business) has also performed well, with margin improvements ahead of plan. Meanwhile, bidding for the Government’s National Decontamination program is further advanced with Synergy now shortlisted for nine projects, of which the majority are down to the last two.
