YouGov, which conducts online market research and opinion polling, has made a huge impression on investors since it came to market in April last year. We’re struggling to remember the last time we spotted a company which in little over a year has been forced to revise market expectations upwards on no fewer than four occasions. However, the force is most certainly with YouGov, whose pretax profit has rocketed from £0.7m in 2004 to an expected £4.3m in the financial year, which ended last month (31 July).
