Aquarius Platinum has announced a rather mixed set of Q4 production figures and final results for the year to 30 June. A series of adverse events, including strikes, power cuts and plant and equipment breakdowns, conspired to reduce net attributable production of platinum group metal from 112,500 oz in Q3 to 109,900 oz in Q4, leaving annual production 30,000 oz lower at exactly 500,000 oz. However, with prices of platinum, palladium and rhodium establishing new highs in the period, average PGM prices achieved increased 36% to US$1,887 per oz.
