With oil prices making a strong recovery investors have been reminded of the risks of a supply crunch with a recent forecast by the International Energy Agency noting that by 2030 production capacity will have to rise 70% just to keep up with future demand. Finding new sources of oil is easier said than done with new projects tending to be far more complicated and expensive than older discoveries.
