The shares roared back to hit a high of 720p on 5 August following the publication of its prospectus for the Hong Kong listing. This contained a trading update for the four months to 30 April, which showed revenue, operating profit and net profit of RMB675m, RMB242.5m and RMB 154.3m respectively, representing year-on-year growth of 93%, 76% and 70%. The company has also issued a profit estimate for the half-year to 30 June of not less than RMB 307m (£24.8m).  Since then West China has appointed ICBC and Deutsche Bank as joint bookrunners and sponsors and released further details regarding its Hong Kong listing.
