NCC has announced the acquisition of US-based Matasano, a leading IT security testing services provider for up to a maximum £8.4m. Matasano, which strengthens NCC's presence in New York and Chicago  is its second deal in the US and eighth overall in the network testing and software security space. In the year to June 2012  it generated revenues of US$5m and is expected to be eps enhancing. Earlier NCC released final results, which showed revenues increasing 24% to £87.7m, pretax profit rising 27% to £22.6m and eps increasing 24% to 46.7p.
