Encouragingly, in spite of further sterling strength management have upgraded their outlook from eps being similar to last year to one where they will be â€œahead.â€ Q3 update for the 16 weeks to 21 June revealed that in spite of the sugar business seeing sales fall 20% at constant rates, Primark retail, which trades through 275 stores and trading space of 10m sq. ft. (up 1m on a year ago), enjoyed whopping 22% growth. Its fast fashion has been very successful in the UK and is now being rolled out internationally where sales densities are higher.
