The shares leapt 60p to a new high of 600p after Paysafe recommended a 590p-a-share bid from private equity groups, Blackstone and CVC Capital Partners. This followed earlier approaches since May at lower prices.Paysafe's largest shareholder, Old Mutual, has sent in a non--binding letter with intent to vote in favour of the offer, in respect of its 10.3% shareholding. In total, institutional shareholders representing 12.2% back the offer as well as the CEO and CFO (together 2.1%).Paysafe has also announced it is acquiring Merchants Choice Payment Solutions (MCPS), a payment processor based in Texas.
