Shares in CFD provider Plus 500 have made a remarkable recovery from 332p to 654p after it announced that the business has traded very strongly since its last update on 2 June, which means it now expects revenues and profits for the year to December to beat expectations.In response, Liberum has increased EBITDA forecasts by a whopping 33% to US$145m (eps: 95.5 cents). Forecasts for FY’18 have been upgraded by 16% to US$112m (74 cents), a year on year decline probably reflecting the fallout from the regulatory probe by the European Securities and Markets Authority.Written about at 738p in October ‘16, we feel it’s too dicey to be a long-term holder in this one and we have used the rally to sell. ...
