Shares in Abcam hit a high of 1489p during the month thanks to a confident full year trading update, which noted 10.7% revenue growth for the year ended 30 June at a constant currency basis. Gross margin is expected to be in line with last year (2017: 70.1%).The company plays an important role in helping scientists find a cure for cancer, alzheimers and other diseases through the sale, via an online catalogue of its research grade antibodies. An important driver for its growth is its online catalogue of products and catalogue revenue grew over 10% in the year with all categories growing ahead of underlying market growth.  Abcam will report full year results on 10th September.
