Meat processor Cranswick reported a 3.2% increase in sales for the first quarter to 30 June with positive contributions from each of the group’s product categories.The group continues to invest significantly across its asset base to add capacity and capability and during the period commissioned its new continental products factory in Bury, Greater Manchester. The facility consolidates production from its two original sites and provides significant increased capacity.
