The shares bounced after Superdry issued strong and in line full year results, along with an unexpected 25p special dividend. Group revenue rose 16% to £872m while pretax profit increased 11.5% to £97m. Earnings per share rose 10.8% to 93.6p. Gross margin fell 2.1% to 58.1%, in line with guidance, reflecting a higher mix of lower margin wholesale and planned stock clearance. Crucially, analysts say current trading has picked up from Q4 with future guidance and forecasts unchanged, while net cash rose from £65.4m to £75.8m.Within wholesale, revenues rose almost 30% while there was double digit growth in its forward order books for the third year running.
