Swallowfield traded broadly in line with expectations for the year ended 30 June, with the highlight being a strong 16% increase in sales in the brands division, while its profits will be significantly above expectations as a result of improving margins, thanks to scale economies. EBITDA will be £1m better than forecast at £5m implying a c. 23% EBITDA margin (2017: 17.6%).
