The shares soared over £3 after property franchise group Belvoir revealed trading at the half-year has been exceptionally strong and ahead of expectations. Revenues rose 41% year-on-year and 53% on 2019 with substantial growth across both divisions.Management Service Fees (MSF) from residential sales were up 100% on H1 20 and 68% on 2019, helped by a 10% rise in prices thanks to the stamp duty holiday and “race for space,” while the current pipelines suggest there won’t be a “cliff edge” when the stamp duty holiday ends.Meanwhile, MSF from lettings, which had been much less affected by the lockdown, rose 13% on H1 20 or 10% excluding the contribution from the acquired Nicholas Humphreys net ...
