As I flagged in my write-up the group is improving the quality of earnings by selling off its under-performing businesses. Latest to go is its loss-making Swedish rental business and US road traffic control portfolio, the latter for c. £61.5m, which will enhance group operating margin while the funds will be used to reduce debt.The group also issued solid half year results with sales ahead 12% to £350m, while operating profit rose 16% to £43.6m. Eps increased 13% to 38.7p.
