On almost all measures of relative strength, shares in meat processor Cranswick have been on a tear; I originally wrote them up in 2001 at 284p and again at 1158p in August 2013. In the past 18 months alone they have gained over 50% and now stand at an all-time high of £47.50. When the weather really warms up (like now) this meat processor typically does well from a spike in its gourmet sausages for barbeques while England’s run to the finals of the European Championships may have  boosted its smaller foodservice business, which supplies pubs and restaurants.
